Tony Hollinden filed his candidacy for the at-large council seat now filled by Republican Jim Adams. Owner of Hollinden Realty in Tell City, Hollinden is a former member and president of the Tell City-Troy Township School Board and is a past member of the Tell City Advisory Plan Commission.
Hollinden said his greatest accomplishment “will always be my family” and feels a desire to give back to the community.
“I’m a committed worker with a positive attitude. My flexible work hours and enthusiasm will help me to accomplish my duties as a council person,” he said.
Hollinden also cited his experience with construction and finance as important tools he can use to help the community. “Tell City will grow in the next four years. It will grow to be a better place, a safe place, a healthier place and, hopefully, a city that will attract businesses with families, he said.
